Pearl Jam releasing first album in five years - but you'll have to wait to hear it
Pearl Jams new album is on the way

Pearl Jam are set to release a new album – but not just yet.

The Jeremy singers havent shared a new album since 2013, but bassist Jeff Ament let slip that their 11th offering is officially on the way.

But before you get your hopes up, he confessed its safe to say well be waiting until next year to hear their new music.

We know its not that far away, but we want it now!

During an appearance on Kyle Meredith With…, the 55-year-old explained the band needs a good solid six to eight weeks carved out where were just recording all these ideas that we have.

And he revealed their mammoth world tour – which is coming to London in June – has gotten in the way of their studio sessions.

The one thing we have working against us is the upcoming tour, he continued. The other thing we have working against us is it takes three or four months to do a vinyl version of any record.

However, despite not giving away any details on when well be given the album, or what it will be called, Jeff did give us a little glimpse into what we can expect from it.

He simply added: Its going to be really good. Theres a lot to be inspired by and a lot to be pissed off about, which basically says it all… right?

Pearl Jam recently unveiled their new single, Cant Deny Me, which will be taken off the new album.

And the lyrics seemingly threw some serious shade at Donald Trump, with lines like: The higher, the farther, the faster you fly. You may be rich but you cant deny me, and Watch as the roots take hold, the country you are representing, critical condition.

Were going to go out on a limb and say the President will feature heavily on their next release…
