Scott Brown was confronted by a Rangers fan outside Ibrox (Twitter)

A Rangers fan aimed sickening abuse towards Celtic captain Scott Brown about his sisters death after the Old Firm derby on Sunday.

Celtic won the match 2-0 at Ibrox following goals from Odsonne Edouard and Jonny Hayes.

But as Brown made his way to Celtics team bus after the game, a Rangers supporter shouted: Hows your sister?

The vile jibe was in reference to Browns younger sister Fiona who passed away at the age of 21 from skin cancer in 2008.

Brown looked stunned as he stared back at the man before police intervened.

Both the police and fellow Rangers fans were quick to reprimand the man who spoke to Brown.
