You can’t always get what you want…
But if you try sometimes, you just might find you can get a ticket for The Rolling Stones’ 2018 tour, entitled No Filter.
This is their first UK tour in five years. They last played in Paris in October 2017 to a rapturous reception from fans.
But whereabouts are they playing in the UK, and when? What time do tickets go on sale?
And what do the band have to say about the fact they’re touring once again, despite their collective age of 294? Find out below…
Well, it turns out the Stones are hitting five venues across the UK that they haven’t been to in quite a while.
The tour will stretch from May 22 to June 19, and the cities they’re hitting are Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Cardiff. The London gigs will book-end the five-date tour.
The group’s guitarist Keith Richards, 74, said: ‘It’s such a joy to play with this band there’s no stopping us, we’re only just getting started really.’

Tuesday 5 Jun – Old Trafford Football Stadium, Manchester
Saturday 9 Jun – BT Murrayfield, Edinburgh
Friday 15 Jun – Principality Stadium, Cardiff
Tuesday 19 Jun – Twickenham Stadium, London
His strutting stagefellow Mick Jagger, also 74, added: ‘This part of the No Filter tour is really special for the Stones.
‘We are looking forward to getting back onstage in the summer and playing to fans in the UK and Ireland.
‘It’s always exhilarating going to cities we haven’t played for quite a while and also some new venues for us like Old Trafford and The London Stadium.’
Tickets go on sale here at 9am on Friday March 2nd.
Prices are yet to be announced, but tickets for their European dates last year started at £83.
