Rose Namajunas Is Quickly Becoming The Coolest Woman In The UFC

Sports

Rose Namajunas might be my new favorite UFC star.

Namajunas defended her title this weekend at UFC 223 against Joanna Jedrzejczyk, and she looked outstanding while doing it.

I dont know what it is about Namajunas, but theres just something I cant help but love. Shes got that spirit of a warrior youre simply born with or youre not. Theres no middle ground.

I nearly died this weekend with an unknown illness that would have put most people in a casket. Despite my incredible sickness, I stayed up into the early morning hours of Sunday to watch UFC 223, and Namajunas put on a show in the octagon.

Now, she doesnt have the looks that somebody like Paige VanZant has, but shes got a fighting ability that is incredible.

Maybe its the fact were both the same age, and were both from Wisconsin. I really cant put a finger on it, but theres just something about Namajunas that makes me cheer for her no matter who she is fighting.

You can just tell shes got a serious edge to her, and I mean that in the best way possible. What type of woman would honestly look at Namajunas and think they could win? Its not going to happen.

I hope she sticks around for a very long time, and keeps cracking skulls. From one kid from Wisconsin to another, Ill be there cheering for her the whole way.
