Louisa Johnson has just walked away from Simon Cowells Syco record label, and shes not the first X Factor winner to leave.

In fact it appears there are only three winning acts from the show left on the label after the span of 14 years, which the singing competition took place over.

Little Mix, who won in 2011, are still going strong and set to release another album under the label any time soon.

Last years winners Rak-Su are currently working on new material to shock fans with nearer to the start of the show.

And James Arthur who won in 2012 is still hanging on in there despite leaving and coming back to the label in 2014.

These three names are still quite huge (well Rak-Su will hopefully get there once they release some tunes) but they appear to be the only ones left on the label.

Just last night Louisa revealed that both her and Simon came to a mutual decision that it would be better for her to leave the label and work with another.

Keeping in with Sony, the 20-year-old has moved over to Ministry of Sound, where she revealed she is set to release some new material next month.

Ben Haenow, remember him? Well, he parted ways with the record just 13 months after hed won the X Factor, and Fleur East (who Ben pipped to the post on the same series) also left, after she failed to make a big impact on the charts.

In a statement Ben revealed: Working with The X Factor and Syco has been the most amazing time of my life and has given me the best possible platform for me and the start of my career.

However, after discussions both myself and Syco felt it was the right time to move on.

Steve Brookstein was the first ever contestant to win the show back in 2004. He topped the charts with his cover of Phil Collins Against All Odds – but left the record label before putting out a second album.

Shayne Ward was dropped from the label after releasing a self titled album in 2006. At the time he wrote: 1 door closed, A Thousand more will open.

To which it did, as he went on to have a leading role in the much loved soap Coronation Street.

Leona Lewis is also no longer under contract with Syco despite spending seven years with Simon, and Alexandra Burke also parted ways with the company to join RCA Records.

It looks as though the label is there to kick-start the winners career and get their name know before they go their separate ways.

Either way its an amazing opportunity and for Little Mix to still be going strong on the label, as well in their career, just goes to show what Simon can do for these acts.

More: The X Factor

Who knows, maybe ten years down the line Rak-Su will still be signed – well just have to wait and see.

X Factor will continue this year, and if previous series are anything to go by, it looks like its set to launch at the beginning of September.
