The Big Ten is primed to have a strong season, judging from the oddsmakers lines on win totals.
These are the lines for over/under on wins for the teams at the top of the Big Ten, according to BetDSI:
- Ohio State/10.5
- Wisconsin/10
- Penn State/9
- Michigan/8.5
- Michigan State/8.5
- Northwestern/7.5
- Iowa/7.5
Thats a pretty solid lineup. Seven teams are predicted to win at least seven games. I believe thats what we like to call a power conference. The SEC only has four teams at 7.5 wins or more. Sad!
The Big Ten is over here taking souls setting expectations sky high, and the SEC is just treading water to stay alive. Embarrassing for a conference people once upon a time called the best in America.
As a Wisconsin fan, Im glad were finally starting to get some respect. Last year, nobody gave us the time of day, despite the fact we went 13-1. Looks like Vegas isnt juiced to make the same mistake twice.
Life sure is good when youre a Big Ten fan. Not a single game has been played, and were already anticipated to rock and roll. See all of you guys in the playoff.
