Batman director Zack Snyder has gone HAM on a bunch of fans who criticised his character for being a violent iteration of a classic superhero.

The director addressed those who are perhaps a little too critical over Batman killing a whole bunch of people in the 2016 film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, as he labelled them living in a dream world.

Guess he wants to portray whats going on in the world in his movies? A bold move for a comic character. But, evidently, Zack marches to the beat of his own drum.

Chilling at the Watchmen Q&A earlier this week, he began in the clip, since uploaded to Reddit: Someone says to me: [Ben Afflecks] Batman killed a guy. Im like, “F*ck, really? Wake the f*ck up”.

He wasnt done, though. Oh, may we add this was during a three-day charity event.

Once youve lost your virginity to this f*cking movie and then you come and say to me something about like “My superhero wouldnt do that.” Im like “Are you serious?” he said, as people cheered and laughed. Im like down the f*cking road on that.

Im 100% fine with it. Its a cool point of view to be like “My heroes are still innocent. My heroes didnt f*cking, you know, lie to America. My heroes didnt embezzle money from their corporations. My heroes didnt f*cking commit any atrocities.” Thats cool. But youre living in a f*cking dream world.

Okay, mate, we get it.

He has zero chill at the fact people take umbrage with Batmans apparent 21 kill count, which went against Batmans traditional dont-even-kill-the-bad-guys mentality, but obviously the fans themselves had some thoughts about Zacks musings.

One wrote: Zack Snyder: “Thats cool. But youre living in a fucking dream world.”

People Who Need Superhero Stories: “Thats the whole idea, guy.”

Another compared Batman to Superman and started a whole new war: Zack Snyder talks a big game but not ONCE in any of his films did Superman punch someone into the sun.

Not wrong.

A little more critical, one chimed in: I wish Zack Snyder would have woke the f*ck up and realised you cant just alter everything Batman stands for and think people will be happy.

While another felt the move was what broke DCEUs back, as they wrote on Twitter: Batman intentionally going out at night to commit murder makes him just as bad as the psychos he fights.
