The upcoming episodes of soaps are all about hellos and goodbyes. As Emily Bishop (Eileen Derbyshire) and Norris Cole (Malcolm Hebden) reappear in Coronation Street, the day is marred as Sinead Tinkers (Katie McGlynn) death becomes a reality. Over in EastEnders, its one out and one in as Martin Fowler (James Bye) only for Daniel Cook (Ade Edmondson) to say a final farewell.
Elsewhere, other lives are at risk as Kerry Wyatts (Laura Norton) Emmerdale accident sees her hanging by a thread while Hollyoaks airs some devastating scenes for James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan) as he is on edge.

EastEnders
1. Martin is back on the Square and he begs Ben to let Stacey come home. Ben agrees to hand the wrench over to Martin but only if he agrees to help him out with a job. But when things become more complicated, Ben retracts his promise and tensions rise, leading Martin to lash out.

2. Rainie attempts to make amends and gets a job at the cafe – only for Kathy to then sack her when she misreads a situation and believes she has fallen off the wagon. Later, after police swoop on the club to warn her about drugs, Kathy presents Rainie with a test and Stuart explodes with rage.
3. Jean and Daniel continue to spend time together and grow closer but Jean is later shattered to get the news that Daniel has died. Kush supports her as she attends Daniels memorial and she discusses her lost friend with his pal Mike.
4. Sonia and Martin rally around Bex after her recent suicide attempt and are by her side as she attends a mental health appointment. Not knowing the reason for his disappearance, Sonia tears a strip off Martin for his absence when Bex needed him most.
5. Karen is touched when Bailey tells her that she wants her to become her legal guardian and Karen decides that she will adopt Bailey. However, Bailey is later crushed to overhear that Karen knew of Dinahs intention to take her own life.
6. Chantelle is concerned when Gray doesnt come home and later confronts him about it but he lies. Later on, Jack questions Gray over a fight that he was involved in on the previous night but what has he been up to?
7. As Arshad discovers that Mariam has been mugged, he comforts his wife and she later tells Iqra that she is proud of her and apologises. Later on, Iqra confides in Arshad that Adam cheated on Honey with Habiba.

Coronation Street
8. Ryan realises that Ali has been lying to him after he discovers him asleep in the cafe and, after finding pills on him, he orders him to get his life straightened out. But Ali continues to lose control and later tells Maria that he doesnt love her and theyre finished.
9. Robert is on the track of Ray, intent on getting revenge but Michelle stops him and suggests that they take a holiday. Robert is forced to lie to Vicky that he is going on a last minute cooking course and she reluctantly accepts that he has to go.
10. Its Kens 80th and, despite his worries over Sinead, he is delighted when he arrives to see that Norris is a guest. And he gets another surprise when Emily contacts the party by Skype to give her best wishes.
11. Sinead is given the shattering news that she only has weeks to live and she is forced to confide in her family that she will soon die. Later, when alone with him, Sinead apologises to a broken Daniel that she has to leave him and Bertie.
12. After Kevin says goodbye to Debbie, Sophie contemplates the money and Paula suggests they go travelling. However, Paula has no intention of going with Sophie and pushes her to follow her heart and head to Cambodia.
13. Dev insists on taking Asha to see Dr Gaddas about her skin lightening and Asha opens up. Later, Dev pledges his support to his troubled daughter.

14. David clocks a fellow prisoner smuggling a mobile phone in prison and causes a distraction so he isnt caught. Soon, he finds himself with a new friend.
Emmerdale
15. Kerry continues to fight for her life in hospital and Dan, Amy and Amelia anxiously wait for news while Tracy fears that she may have killed her. Later on, Kerrys condition takes a turn for the worse as doctors and nurses rush into her room.
16. During an argument about everything that has happened, Vanessa lashes out when Amy threatens to blame Tracy to the police for Kerrys injuries and she accidentally hits a nurse. As Vanessa is arrested, Amy fears she will reveal the truth about the fire.
17. Still desperate for money, Mandy learns that Lydia has been left some money and when her solicitor arrives, she pretends that she is Lydia. But when Lydia and Sam return during the meeting, will they discover what Mandy is up to?
