Heartbreak is the theme in Ramsay Street this week.
Jack and Paige’s indiscretion comes out this week, which has huge consequences for both Steph and Mark. There was no way they were going to get away with that without hurting someone.
Rafael manages to bag himself a date with David, but does a cruel cut and run when he learns a truth about David he doesn’t want to hear, leaving David devastated.
In a lighter bit of Neighbours news, Ben finds a way to reconnect with his dad and manages to help Steph in the process, and Susan suspects Izzy for an ulterior motive.
Here’s what’s coming up this week in neighbours,
1. Steph finds out about Jack and Paige
While on their camping trip with their respective partners Jack and Paige stupidly decided to talk about the night they slept together – but Steph overhears the whole conversation. And now it’s time for some serious damage control. They have to convince her not to tell Mark – he doesn’t need this on top of Tyler being sent down for murder. But will she agree to keep schtum?
2. Mark pops the question
Mark confesses to Steph he’s going to ask Paige to him, putting her in a seriously awkward situation. But she says nothing and he goes right ahead, only for the guilt to hit Paige like a tonne of bricks and she runs off into the bush. Mark then has to call on Steph and Jack to help him find Paige, and Jack is the one to find her with a twisted ankle. The guilt of the situation hits her even harder and she breaks, telling Mark everything.
3. Susan suspects Izzy
Susan knows that whatever the reason for Izzy’s return, it’s not a good thing. Tension is also rising between her and Karl and Susan needs Izzy to leave, but Izzy drops the bombshell that she’s not going anywhere and Susan starts to suspect there’s an ulterior motive. Is Izzy pregnant?
4. Steph reacts to Jack’s betrayal and feels the dire consequences
Poor Steph. She makes the bad decision of heading to Jack’s room at the backpackers looking for evidence of his betrayal, only to find a photograph of him and Paige with baby Gabe. Seeing red, she lashes out and vandalises his room.
Unfortunately for Steph, Leo enlists Mishti’s help with finding the culprit prompting Steph to confess. Now she’ll be charged which might threaten her visa to visit son Charlie in Fiji. What has she done?
5. Ben reconnects with dead dad Drew
Ben finds an old car outside the garage and a note on the windscreen says it’s from his grandparents. Toadie tells him the car belonged to his dad and now it’s his to fix up. Ben manages to rope Steph into helping fix the car, and she finds some solace in helping him bond with his dad through her.
6. David and Rafael date
David spots the mysterious Rafael and Leo encourages him to be brave and go and ask for a date. Rafael, although intimidated by David’s forthrightness, eventually agrees to a date and they head off to the Waterhole. That is until Rafael learns who David is and is forced to make a hasty exit.
7. Rafael confesses
Rafael finally comes clean to Mishti about who he really is and what he wants. His mother was killed in the fire of a building in Brazil owned by Paul Robinson. The fire was caused by shoddy health and safety standards. He must stop Paul before something like that happens again.
