Captain America will die at the end of Avengers 4 – at least thats what many of us think.
What everyones certain of at least is that Chris Evans Steve Rogers will cease to be a force in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, because hes told everyone hes done with the role.
But the question of how Steve dies or departs is still shrouded in mystery thanks to the Russo brothers being the secretive squirrels that they are; this has prompted MANY a fan theory.
But, so far, theres only one that has brought a tear to our eyes, and its one that sees Cap reunited with his one-true love Peggy Carter.
Having started off fighting the good fight back in WWII together, the Allied sweethearts never consummated their love for one another because Steve crashed into the ice where he lay dormant till SHIELD dug him up.

They were basically meant to be… but not quite. That is unless this heartwarming fan theory about Caps death is correct.
After all in Age Of Ultron they were reunited in that macabre dance hall of the dead, so whos to say that wasnt a vision of Caps real future?
WHAT IF STEVE DIES IN AVENGERS 4 AND THE POST CREDIT SCENE IS HIM WALKING INTO AN OLD EMPTY DANCE HALL (the one in the aou vision) AND YOU HEAR PEGGY'S VOICE SAYING "youre late…"

Well thats exactly what @quill_rocket proposed, imagining the sad day that we have to say goodbye to ol Cap was a bit more emosh than we possibly thought it could be:
@What if Steve dies in Avengers and the post credit scene is him walking into an old empty dance hall (the one in the aou vision) and you hear Peggys voice saying “youre late…”

No were not crying, YOURE crying!
As it is we have no idea how Steve will bite the bullet, but whats certain is that the Avengers need him to help bring down Thanos and undo that snappening… if it can be undone.
