Aviciis last Instagram post before his shock death appeared to hint at new music.
The Wake Me Up star, who died on 20 April in Oman, posted his last photo on the social media site just two weeks ago.
He shared a poignant snap of himself in California, with a piano in the background – perhaps hinting he had new music on the way.
The DJ – real name Tim Bergling – captioned the snap: Its always sunny in California for his 6.3million followers.
Aviciis rep confirmed his death in a statement, shared on Friday, 20 April.
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the loss of Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii, it read.
He was found dead in Muscat, Oman this Friday afternoon local time, April 20th.
The family is devastated and we ask everyone to please respect their need for privacy in this difficult time. No further statements will be given.

The late stars final tweet saw him share his excitement at his nomination for a Billboard Music Award.
His latest album, entitled Avici (01) earned him a gong for best Dance/Electronic Album, alongside Calvin Harris, The Chainsmokers, ODESZA and Kygo.

Calvin led tributes from celebrities, saying he was devastated over the DJs passing.
