Shane Lynch said Boyzone will always be five in an emotional interview about his late bandmate and friend Stephen Gately.
Nine years after the fifth band member died of a heart defect, Ronan Keating, Shane Lynch, Keith Duffy and Mikey Graham have vowed to make him a part of their goodbye as they release their final album.
Shane told the Daily Record : Boyzone will always be five so it was important that as we said goodbye, we said it with him.
We have a piece of Stevo on the album. Its amazing. A bittersweet blessing without a doubt.
It was just lovely to have him around. We miss him.
Their new album, Thank You and Goodnight, will be their last one, and it features the likes of Ed Sheeran and Gary Barlow.
The boys found a track that Stephen created before he died in 2009, and have made it into a song on the album, I Can Dream.
