Before Brie Larson started filming her debut MCU movie Captain Marvel, she had finished her scenes for Avengers Endgame.
Which comes out after Captain Marvel – so the chances of Brie slipping up on spoilers while on the promo tour are fairly high.
So the actress has come up with a novel way of avoiding ruining the plot of Avengers 4 – forget everything she filmed.
Somebody probably should have told Mark Ruffalo that before he gave away the entire ending to Infinity War…
Speaking to USA Today, Brie, 29, said: I just never wanted to feel like I was going to slip up or that I was going to say the wrong thing, I was like, “I cant live with myself being the one that spoils something.” So I really just deleted it.

I tried my best to journal it if I want to recall it and go, “Oh yeah, that was a crazy time.” And Im excited when the movie comes out to finally be able to talk about it and go, “Yes, this was crazy.”
But my family doesnt know. I havent talked to anybody about anything because Im just a very diligent secret-keeper.
Impressive.
More: Avengers
We knew that Captain Marvel would have a part to play in Endgame after the post-credits scene from Infinity War, where Nick Fury – possibly on his way to meet SHIELD agent Cameron Klein – appeared to page Captain Marvel before he turned to dust.
But before we see the superhero in Endgame, we will meet her in this Marchs Captain Marvel, as we see the origin story as Carol Danvers as she transforms from former Air Force fighter pilot into Starforce hero.
Captain Marvel becomes so after Danvers DNA is fused with that of a Kree, giving her the power of flight and superhuman strength.
Captain Marvel will be released on 8 March, while Avengers: Endgame will hit cinemas on 26 April.
