Brie Larson has revealed the intense training she undertook for Captain Marvel before she was told she didnt have to actually be the one doing the stunts.
Movie fans are prepping for the release of the first female Marvel superhero film this March but the 29-year-old actress has now spoken about the nine months she had to put in before the first camera rolled, as she also had to undergo three months of stunt training for two hours every day.
I did nine months of just training, training, and three months of stunt training with the stunt team where we spent two hours every day, five days a week, she said.
It wasnt until we started shooting and I started doing all my own wirework, stunts and flips and stuff that people were like, “You know, nobody… now well tell you; nobody actually does this.” I was like, “Huh.” But I love it.
Speaking to Collider, she added: It definitely makes things more complicated in certain ways because I can be taking a lot more naps than I am.

Marvel bosses have been tight-lipped – as usual – on what we can expect from this Captain Marvel adventure but producer Kevin Feige has revealed the superhero origin story will be very different to anything fans have seen before.
It takes place in the 1990s and while it is an origin story of our hero, it is a very different type of origin story which were excited to unveil to audiences, he told Variety.
Brie Larson does a tremendous job. Sam Jackson is a very different version of Nick Fury, does an amazing job, the entire cast — this one is very different and very exciting.
