Janet Jackson is a big fan of BTS.
The pop superstar was one of the first to congratulate the K-pop band backstage after they picked up a whopping five awards at the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) 2018.
Though the Anpanman hitmakers described the meet-up as an honour, it was Janet who couldnt help but gush about their encounter on social media.
The Rhythm Nation singer shared a clip of RM, Jimin, J-Hope, V, Jungkook, Jin and Suga joining her in her dressing room to hang out and it was a thing of beauty.
The video sees the seven band members shake the singers hand and even bow their heads toward the icon as they smiled: Honour to meet you.

Congratulations! Janet tells the group, who were named Best Artist of the Year among other accolades.
Were so, so, big, big fans, RM replied excitedly.
The clip also shows Janet – who received a special Inspiration Award at the ceremony – asking the boys if theyre having fun, to which, unsurprisingly, they all agree they are.
Nice meeting u @bts.bighitofficial, Janet captioned the clip, later adding an epic selfie of all the artists together.
Could this be the start of the coolest collaboration ever? Well just leave that there.
It was a big night for BTS at the MAMAs – and not just because they got to meet music industry royalty.
The boys dominated the awards ceremony in Hong Kong as IDOL was voted the TikTok Best Video and Love Yourself: Tear named Best Album.
After slaying the red carpet with their slick outfits, BTS also won the Best Asian Style award, after previously getting the MWave Global Choice gong, while the stars were honoured with a special award before the evening even kicked off for their contribution to promoting Seoul.
Picking up the gong for Best Artist, the boys couldnt hold back the tears as they reflected on their monster year.
Thanking the ARMY, J-Hope told the crowd: We really wanted to repay you guys before bursting into tears mid-speech.

Emotions continued to run high as Seokjin revealed the group even considered disbanding earlier this year due to the pressures of the industry.
We suffered a lot this year. We even thought about disbanding but we all gathered our hearts together again, and receiving this award, Iʼm glad that it lead to a good result, he told the fans.
