Fresh off the 90s superHERo awesomeness of the new Captain Marvel trailer, Brie Larson flew into (not literally, obviously) Brazils Comic Con Experience (CCXP) in Sao Paulo to talk about the forthcoming Marvel Studios film.
Larson participated in a panel and also shared footage and an extended trailer from the comic book flick with the packed audience. But if youre looking for that footage, you probably not going to find it because it was exclusive to CCXP.
However, the Academy Award-winning actress tweeted a video of the crowd which was massive. “Look at these gorgeous humans feeling all the feels with me after watching exclusive footage from #CaptainMarvel,” she wrote.
In addition, Marvel Studios tweeted out a new Captain Marvel poster which is exclusive to CCXP. It features Larson in full Captain Marvel regalia and gives off some serious comic book HERo vibes.
Captain Marvel brings us back in time to the 1990s before all of the events we have seen in the MCU. The movie is an all-new adventure that follows the journey of Carol Danvers (Larson) as she becomes one of the universes most powerful heroes. While a galactic war between two alien races reaches Earth, Danvers finds herself and a small cadre of allies at the center of the maelstrom.
The film stars a mix of familiar and new faces in the MCU including Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Rune Temte, Algenis Perez Soto, Mckenna Grace, with Annette Bening, with Clark Gregg, and Jude Law.
Captain Marvel opens in theaters March 8, 2019.
