Cardi B is a woman who simply does not rest as she announces an album release for 2019.

The 26-year-old – who released her debut album, revealed her secret marriage to Offset and welcomed her first child Kulture to the world all in 2018 – is not slowing down any time soon.

Invasion of Privacy hit the shelves in April 2018 just before the rapper, real name Belcalis Almanzar, announced her pregnancy and now the former Love & Hip Hop star wants to release her second studio album during the same time this year.

Speaking during an Instagram Live broadcast, the Money hitmaker said: Of course its gonna be an album in 2019. Hopefully, I could get my album done around the same time that Invasion of Privacy came out, but I dont know how possible thats gonna be because I feel like Im going to be extremely, extremely busy.

Invasion of Privacy took the music industry by storm proving that the rapper was not just a one-hit wonder – following the success of break-out single Bodak Yellow.

The album was 2018s most celebrated albums after it achieved multiplatinum status, and made Cardi the first female artist to have every track on an album certified gold or higher by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

And it didnt stop there for the artist as the record was the third most streamed album of 2018 on Apple Music, and the most streamed for a female artist, while on Spotify, Cardi was crowned again as the most streamed female, but the album was fourth overall.

It seems she is having the last laugh after critics debated the longevity of her success because she fell pregnant so early in her mainstream music career.

But this doesnt mean the Ring rapper isnt feeling the pressure to keep on winning.

Responding to the news of her RIAA certification on Twitter last month, Cardi wrote: BIG MOMMA BARDI !! Im happy my album is amazing but I got sooo much pressure and anxiety cause I know I gotta kill it with my second one (sic)

Back in September, soon after the arrival of her daughter Kulture – who she has with estranged husband Offset, Cardi admitted she felt guilty that she hadnt been in the recording studio for two days.

Cardi previously teased she was planning on unveiling at least five new tracks, which didnt make her debut album.

In another Instagram live, she said at the time: Theres about five songs that I was supposed to put on Invasion Of Privacy but they didnt fit and make sense. So Im gonna put it on this project that I really want to put out on 1 September, but Im missing like four or five songs.

Cardi B is reportedly giving Offset another chance after missing him like crazy following their marriage breakdown.

After the 26-year-old revealed to fans that she had grown out of love with her baby daddy, Offset has done everything in his power to win his wifey back.
