Donald Glover has praised the recent UK protests against Donald Trumps visit, saying he was proud to see that big balloon.
The US presidents visit was met with thousands protesting against his arrival, which also included a controversial balloon of Donald Trump in a nappy flying across Westminster.
Speaking during his Lovebox festival headline set as Childish Gambino, Glover, who previously lived in London for a year, remarked how our situation isnt so different from the US.

You know were not that different, Glover said. Ive been seeing the same shit here that I be seeing in America.
I used to be like, “oh man, London cant be that bad, you dont got burns like that.” And then you all came out with the acid, I was like oh fuck. That shit is terrifying.

But everybody feels the same way, he added. I was very proud to see that big balloon. That shit is unfair. But the scary part is you gotta fight for that shit.

You have to stick together because were stronger together. I want you guys to know that.
For the majority of the set, Glover let his songs do the talking – playing through hits like Redbone, 3005 and closing with recent smash This Is America.
The star is set to release one final album as Childish Gambino, announcing he was retiring from his music alter-ego earlier this year.
