Steps member Claire Richards has admitted that Calvin Harris is number one on her list of people for the band to work with.
As the group prepare to release a new studio album soon, she admitted that she doesnt think that that they are cool enough to work with the Scottish DJ, although a collaboration between the two would shock their fans.
The charts are heavily led by the whole feature thing at the moment, she told the Press Assocation. Theres so many who are so good at it like Clean Bandit and Sigala and Calvin Harris.
Those types of people are amazing but were just not cool enough. It would be great. That would shock everybody, wouldnt it? Steps and Calvin Harris. It would be really good, Im sure.

But the singer has also ruled out adding any feature guests onto the bands songs, saying that they have enough vocalists.
You know what, I think weve got enough of us to spread over each track, so we dont need to.
The 41-year-old also mentioned how Steps were no longer the butt of peoples jokes and that attitudes towards the pop group have changed since their reunion and the release of their last studio album, Tears On The Dancefloor, which peaked at #2 on the UK Albums Chart in 2017.
Definitely with the last reunion the attitude to us has changed, especially within the industry, she said.
I think we were always the butt of peoples jokes, if you like. If people wrote a story about us there would always be a little dig at the end.
But we didnt get any of that last time. I dont know if its because its been so long and the album was so great.
People just appreciated it for what it was, a really good album.
Claire has got a big weekend ahead of her, as she prepares to warm up for Celine Dion at the British Summertime Festival in Hyde Park, London.
