Roy Cropper and Evelyn Plummer are having quite the time of it this winter. Fresh from being busted for scaling a private fence in search of Evelyns dog Cerberus, they are then apprehended by police who think they are staked out in a car to engage in some dogging.
But now the Coronation Street pairs efforts look set to finally pay off as new pictures show Evelyn reunited with her beloved dog. As she runs towards her pooch and pulls him into a hug, is this finally the end of the trouble?

When Cerberus goes missing, Roy and Tyrone join Evelyn in her desperate search. They arrive at a home where she thinks the pooch is being held but Craig Tinker is called to the scene when Roy is caught helping her to climb the fence into the garden.
Undeterred, they wait in the car and watch the property but with windows steamed up and the pair acting shifty, the police confront them and assume that they are up to something much more seedy that looking for a dog.
These new pictures of cast members David Neilson (Roy), Maureen Lipman (Evelyn) and Alan Halsall (Tyrone) filming show the joy in Evelyns face as she finally catches sight of the dog – just in time for a Christmas reunion.
But will the dog be coming home with her?
Alan has certainly been busy on location set pieces as he has also been snapped with other cast members in Manchester for filming of the Christmas nativity, which is being headed up by Brian Packman.
Wed pay front row tickets to see that – purely because we can only assume it will be a disaster!
