David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) in Coronation Street has been in prison for a while after his grandma Audrey (Sue Nicholls) learnt that he and his brother Nick (Ben Price) were responsible for her inheritance money going missing.
Whilst David is doing time for his schemes, Nick was able to use his brain injury he got from David to his defence which meant he wasnt able to spend time in prison.
Soon the boredom and frustration of being stuck inside will get to David as upcoming episodes see him caught up in huge prison drama.
Sarah (Tina OBrien) visits David in prison and discovers shes missed Shonas (Julia Goulding) birthday.
As a fellow inmate, slips a mobile phone inside his sock, hes furious to clock David watching him. When the inmate is almost caught with the mobile phone, hes impressed when David causes a distraction so he can get rid of the phone.
