Coronation Streets Gina Seddon has not had the most successful of love lives and her recent feelings developing for her jailed sister Sallys husband Tim Metcalfe could be her messiest romance yet.
Knowing that it could never work and having a conscience over what it might do to Sally, Gina decides to that she needs to find a man of her own rather than hankering after a married one.
She ends up going out on a date and things go pretty well when she initially sees Dave, who has brought her some flowers. But before long, Dave will show his true colours and its clear he is only after one thing – and gets aggressive when he doesnt get it.
Gina responds by kneeing him in his danglies and storming off but Dave is not going to leave it there and pursues Gina, grabbing her and turning nasty.

As things get out of hand, Gina will fight back but the situation leaves her shaken. Will it prompt her to avoid the dating game altogether and seek comfort in the arms of Tim as he misses his incarcerated wife?
It remains to be seen whether Tim will succumb to an affair with Sallys sibling but the battle for Sallys freedom will continue. Stirling Gallacher, who plays her lawyer friend Paula, recently told Metro.co.uk: Paula would fight to the death for Sallys release – and not just because Sally is such a good person but also because Paula does not like to lose, she is such a competitive person.
Shes great at her job so I think, if you had anybody in charge, it should be Paula. If it were just up to Paula, Sally would have a GREAT fighting chance.
But when Sally does emerge from prison, will she come home to find her marriage and her trust in her sister completely shattered?
Corrie will air these scenes in November.
