Fiz Brown has only just waved goodbye to the cobbles and yet shes already been back to visit Coronation Street.
Actress Jennie McAlpine was seen leaving her role behind this week as Fiz took unruly daughter Hope off to join a specialist school, but just a day later Jennie returned to show off new baby Hilda to the cast and crew.
Posting an image to Instagram of herself pushing a pram in the pouring rain, Jennie wrote: First visit to the cobbles.
Her fellow cast members were delighted to meet the little one, with Bhavna Limbachia, who plays Rana, commending ahhh and Sally Dynevor was clearly given a break away from the bars as she wrote: So lovely to see you especially Hilda xxx.
Jennie is now on maternity leave so Fiz wont be back on the cobbles for the foreseeable while she enjoys time off with her newborn.

Jennie was of course pregnant in her final scenes, with eagle-eyed fans having spotted the strategic placing of lunch boxes – and even Ford Fiestas – in scenes leading up to her exit as Corrie bosses tried to conceal the growing baby bump.
