Coronation Street has revealed the first look at Jim McDonalds long awaited return to Weatherfield as he infiltrates his son Steves stag night – but his arrival doesnt go down too well! Fans have known for some time that Charles Lawson is heading back to his old stomping ground but brand new pictures show the moment that he enters the Rovers to the shock of Steve and Liz.
Steve is enjoying the party atmosphere – even though at one point he gets handcuffed to the bar – but Jim arrives unexpectedly and doesnt get the reception from his son that he was hoping for, considering how things were left between them during their last meeting in the prison visiting room.
Corries social channels have shown the scenes in newly released pictures as Jim tries to make amends – but Steves face says it all. Can Liz persuade her son to hear his dad out?

Jim arrives with big and life changing news for Liz, who will discover that Katie, the baby she and Jim lost years ago, survived but ended up with another family due to a hospital mix up. And Corrie have already cast the role of Katie.
