Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) has struggled to come to terms with the fact that Kel (Joseph Alessi) groomed him when he was a teenager in Coronation Street and — determined to get to the truth — he confronts his abuser in tonights episode.
When Kel showed up on the cobbles, Bernie (Jane Hazelgrove) and Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) were beyond delighted. However, Paul didnt share in his familys joy about the returnee and — after doing some detective work — Billy (Daniel Brockleback) made a shocking discovery about the reason why.
After further conversations with the vicar in Fridays hour-long episode, Paul came to the realisation that Kel had groomed him when he was a teenager, and in tonights instalment, he sets out to confronts his abuser about his past actions.
Paul calls round to Chesneys (Sam Aston) to show Kel the photo, before explaining how Billy thinks hes a victim of sexual grooming. The older man wastes little time in attempting to dispel this claim, assuring Paul that this wasnt the case, informing him that they were in love with one another during that time.
