Alya gets a shock tonight in Coronation Street when she receives a message from Aidan. After the inquest into Aidans death, the Connors had given up the fight for the factory.
Alya now has complete control of Underworld and shes thriving. A delighted Alya announces that shes landed a huge new contract for the factory. Sarah tells Alya that Aidan would be proud of her.
But Sarahs got a surprise for her boss. She hands Alya a DVD and explains that a student dropped it in. Its a recording of an interview with Aidan where he discusses donating his kidney to Carla.
A shaken Alya watches the DVD and realises just how much Aidans family meant to him. A preview clip shows a despondent Alya sitting in her office. Shes moved by the DVD and wonders what shes doing with Underworld, as Aidan loved the Connors so much.

Next week, Alya delights Carla after telling her that shell sell Underworld but Carla struggles to get the required money together.
Peter and Carla have been growing closer since the breakdown of Peters relationship with Toyah. When Peter hears that Carla hasnt got the funds to buy back Underworld he wades in and tells Alya that hes Carlas investor.
Can the former couple reclaim the factory for the Connors? And does Alya have another reason for needing a large sum of money?
