Jim McDonalds return to Coronation Street is going to be explosive if these photos from set are anything to go by.
Beverley Callard and Charles Lawson, who play former couple Liz and Jim McDonald, were busy filming new scenes today in a graveyard in Manchester.
The pair filmed scenes where their characters argued angrily beside the grave of the daughter they had believed to be dead.
Jim will shock Liz when he returns later this year with their daughter in tow. Liz and Jim had believed that their baby daughter died soon after Liz gave birth.
The dramatic twist will be explained away on a administrative error at the hospital. The baby was adopted by parents who named her Hannah. Actress Hannah Ellis Ryan has been cast as Hannah and was also spotted filming scenes with her on screen dad.

The storyline was first reported by The Sun Online.
Hannah grew up in Australia but has managed to track Jim down. Her reappearance is likely to be a shock to Liz, as the babys death was a formative experience for the character.
But Beverley and Charles looked thrilled to be back working together when the cameras werent rolling. The pair hugged, laughed and chatted while on set together.
I am so excited about working with Charlie again, she previously told Metro.co.uk.
Liz and Jim have such a complex relationship and I am really looking forward to the storyline surrounding his return.
