Former Corrie actor Chris Quintin, 61, is continuing to ignore the surprise over his recent engagement to 21-year-old fiancée Robyn Delabarre with a sunny day out to the races.
The couple, who have a forty year age gap, were all smiles and dressed to the nines as they attended Ascot together and posed for photos in between events.
Chris wore a classic blue suit and shirt, while Robyn matched her hat – also blue – with a white bodycon dress.
The star played Brian Tilsley on the soap during the 70s, but has since changed career paths to manage a series of strip clubs. It was in his Hammersmith club where he met his other half, who was a dancer before becoming engaged.
Their relationship gained attention earlier this month after Robyn was rushed to hospital while on holiday in Mykonos after she suffered severe sunburn.

In an effort to quell the whispers, the couple appeared on This Morning to tell their story of falling in love and insist their age gap isnt an issue.
I had no relationship with the girls in the club whatsoever, so I did not expect to fall in love with a dancer, Chris told hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
There was just something about Robyns demeanour and personality and when she told me she was a nanny I thought she was a really good person.
We had an instant connection, agreed his fiancée.
The couple recently revealed they are planning to start a family once they were married and are hoping they will share a son.
He only has daughters so I would like to give him a boy, Robyn told the Mirror.
I put our age gap aside when it comes to thinking of children. Its never going to work if I think about it, so Im just going to try to have a baby.
Chris had a much more positive view on their future, adding: When Im 90 I will be running around playing football with my future son.
