Dave Bautista is totally down for James Gunn writing the script for Suicide Squad 2.
Even better, the actor also wants to sign up for a role in the forthcoming DC Comics sequel, which could mean hed have to ditch Marvels Guardians of the Galaxy.
In July, James, 52, was fired from Guardians after jokes about rape and paedophilia resurfaced from his Twitter account.
The filmmaker has now been revealed as script writer for the second Suicide Squad installment, which is expected to see Will Smith and Margot Robbie reprise their roles.
Reacting to the news, Dave, 49, simply tweeted: Where do I sign up!

Daves followers seemed to welcome the idea, with one suggesting: I second that @DaveBautista would be an excellent Bane, to which another agreed: Even has the right kinda voice for it.

Excited about the prospect, one follower said: I couldnt agree more with you,Disney will absolutely regret kicking him out now and rightfully so. Maybe you really should consider playing a DC superhero now that Guardians 3 is on hold Im sure James would be happy to welcome you with open arms.
Another of Daves fans weighed in: Man I dont want to lose you as Drax but love the idea of you teaming up with Gunn.
Dave was particularly vocal about James departure from Guardians over the summer and appeared to suggest Disney had started a smear campaign against the director.
In a string of tweets, the Drax actor said: I will do what Im legally obligated to do but @Guardians without @JamesGunn is not what I signed up for. GOTG w/o @JamesGunn just isnt GOTG.

Its also pretty nauseating to work for someone whod empower a smear campaign by fascists. Thats just how I feel [sic].
Revealing the news of James new Suicide Squad gig, The Hollywood Reporter claimed the director has closed a deal to pen the script but, at this stage, there is no director deal.
