Dhanush announces film with Mari Selvaraj

Mari Selvaraj made his directorial debut with Pariyerum Perumal.

Filmmaker Mari Selvaraj, who made an impressive debut with Pariyerum Perumal, will helm Dhanushs next film. This yet-to-be-titled film is produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu of V Creations.

Dhanush took to Twitter to make the announcement. He wrote, “Finally watched Pariyerum Perumal. Mindblown. The rawness and lifestyle shown is real that it feels like youre there. Congrats to the entire team. Also, Id like to announce that Mari Selvaraj will be doing his film with me under V Creations. So excited to work with a talent like him.”

Speaking to indianexpress.com, Selvaraj said, “I had a couple of scripts ready while I was working on Pariyerum Perumal. Its a simple story and will be realistic like my earlier film. Dhanush sir was extremely encouraging and loved it when I had pitched in the story. We are yet to decide on the cast and crew details.”
