To infinity… and beyond! But not before quick trip to Disney’s new Toy Story Land.
Fans can join Woody, Buzz, Rex, Mr Potato Head and the whole cast (although, hopefully not Sid) at Disney’s new Toy Story Land this summer, when the park opens in June.
Disney took to the air on Good Morning America to announce the official opening date of the giant new 11-acre American theme park, which will be 30 June.
The new park will form a part of Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida, and will feature ‘set pieces, staging, attractions and experiences’.
A statement went on: ‘This new land will place guests inside the wondrous world of Woody, Buzz and their pals – and invite everyone to experience the joy of being a toy.’
The original Toy Story movie came out in 1995 and was followed by two others, Toy Story 2 in 1999 and Toy Story 3 in 2010. Another movie, Toy Story 4, is pegged for release in 2019.
The rides will all be set within Andy’s Back Garden, and will be largely family-friendly. A main attraction is the Slinky Dog Dash, who will wind across the park, with thrilling views for all ages.
Caught up within the slinky ride will be a variety of other rides, including swirling saucers, and giant figures from the films, including a 20 foot tall Woody, will greet visitors.

Guests will be made to feel like the film’s teeny tiny Green Army Men as they walk around the park and step into Andy’s very own footprints, which are 25 feet long.
Thrillseekers can embark on a toy rocket for a ride through space, Buzz Lightyear style.
The Woody’s Lunch Box area will feature retro soda floats, as well as hot and cold food.
