Shes taken the world by storm with her New Rules and IDGAF attitude, and her most recent collaboration with the Scottish DJ – titled One Kiss – will likely be the song of the summer.
Where is the songstress from though, and how did she break into the music scene?

The London native was born to Albanian parents from Kosovo who immigrated in the 1990s, and in 2008 her family returned to Kosovo.
Dua Lipa is actually her real name – her fathers name is Dukagjin Lipa.

New Rules topped the UKs streaming charts on Spotify as she was the UKs most-streamed female artists of 2017.
Incredibly, she beat Beyonce and Taylor Swift to become Spotifys most-streamed female of 2017.
New Rules is a musical instruction manual for people tempted to contact their exes, and was streamed 464 million times worldwide in 2017.
Dua Lipa released her self-titled debut studio album in 2017 and the album reached number 5 in the UK as well as number 3 in Ireland.
She has also had 453 million streams for Scared To Be Lonely in 2017 too.
