Ben Mitchell is set to officially return to Albert Square on Monday 1 April after venturing to find a new life elsewhere, but what awaits him upon his arrival?
Max Bowden is set to make his debut as Ben Mitchell next month, taking over the role from Harry Reid, with new images showing him squaring up to father Phil.
A recent trailer showed Bens return after a concerned Kathy Beale contacts her son in wake of Phils suspicious business visits to Spain, which has unearthed some new enemies for the family.
A caption for the images reads: Much to the Mitchells surprise, Ben arrives back on the Square. As everyone gets reacquainted, Ben wastes no time in getting down to business and at The Arches he quickly discovers what Phil has been up to.
EastEnders boss Kate Oates recently spoke to Metro.co.uk about Bens return, explaining: The reason Ben comes back is because Kathy learns that Phils business interests arent going as well as he is making out and he is facing some series money worries.
