The ramifications of Shakil Kazemis death continue to be felt in EastEnders as those left behind try to deal with their lost. Heaping praise on the shows handling of the storyline, Jasmine Armfield warned of more manifestations of grief ahead – and not just for her own character, Bex Fowler.
Confirming that Bex will indeed continue to struggle, Jasmine spoke of turbulent times for the likes of Keegan Baker and Carmel Kazemi too, adding that it was important to show that everyone deals with tragedy in different ways but it never just goes away.
She was also enthusiastic over the other side to Bexs story in which viewers can relate to her struggle over what to do with her education. Jasmine agreed that many watching at home will be in a similar pickle to Bex, wondering whether further education is the right thing to do.
