Mel Owens revenge plan has been turned on its head and now shes the one who should be running scared from Ray Kelly in EastEnders.
Things came to a head between Mel and Ray after he twigged what she had in store for him thanks to Hunters slip up, and their confrontation culminated in him strangling her with her own veil. Realising hed just murdered his wife-to-be, he stashed her body in a cupboard and scarpered.
He rushed on over to the church to tell the guests that there wouldnt be a wedding because hed been jilted, feigning being the groom whod been stood up. But oh no, Mel had no intention of not marrying him and not even an attempted murder could stop her – she popped up alive and ready to say I Do.
The two went ahead with the wedding, clearly both with a plan in mind. But whatever Ray had up his sleeve, Mels plan came off first as the police arrived to arrest the liar that is dear Mr Kelly.

Given that hes already married, the police slapped the cuffs on him for bigamy with him looking at a decent stint inside.

But this is Ray Kelly after all, hes a ruthless killer and has been living reasonably successfully on a huge web of lies. A little thing like an arrest wont hold this guy down.
Now itll be his turn for revenge, but what does he have in store for Mel after what shes done? Could his second attempt at murder turn into a successful one?
