The summer heatwave may finally be over but Walford shows no signs of cooling things off as Sharon Mitchell is about to finally give in to her carnal urges for younger man Keanu Taylor in EastEnders as her marriage to Phil shows no signs of improvement.
This week, relations between Phil and Sharon deteriorate further following his rant at her over Dennis Rickman which led to Keanu being beaten up for daring to defend her. During the rest of the week, Phils cold attitude will show her that her marriage is pretty much a husk while Keanus keen attentions are showing her that she is desirable and attractive and can potentially be treated a lot better.
A brand new trailer previewing the action in September has confirmed that Sharons temptations will indeed boil over into lust as she and Keanu get to grips with one another – and this affair looks set to be more than a one time thing.

But what will Phil say – or do – when he discovers the truth? Its not going to be pretty, although many fans are already rooting for #Sheanu. Sharon deserves better after all!
The trailer also hints at big trouble for Mel Owen when her ex Ray Kelly turns up in Walford while it also confirmed that the Carter family will be involved in a shooting storyline in the ueen Vic when Stuart Highways revenge has catastrophic consequences.
The episodes kick off on Monday 3rd September at 8pm on BBC One.
