Elton John has revealed his forthcoming biopic, Rocketman, wont sugarcoat any aspect of his life, admitting the lows were very low.
The British crooners life will unfold on the big screen next month with Taron Egerton portraying him alongside Richard Madden, who will star as Eltons former manager and lover John Reid.
In a teaser taking fans behind the scenes of Rocketmans music, Elton says: It had to be as honest as possible.

Eltons husband David Furnish also makes an appearance and reflects on the singers childhood and what pushed him to pursue music.
The filmmaker explained: Music for the young boy pulled him out of a very unhappy childhood and that opened the door to a world of infinite possibilities.
Despite his stardom now, Elton rose from humble beginnings in Pinner, Middlesex where he was raised by his parents Stanley and Sheila.
Elton once described his father as a tough and unemotional man so no doubt the childhood scenes wont be easy viewing.
Elsewhere in the teaser clip, Taron revealed how rewarding its been for him to play one of Britains most successful musicians of all time.
The Kingsman actor said: Its amazing that this working class kid is one of the biggest music icons in the world.
This is more than just a biopic, its how Elton Johns story should be told. Its been the greatest joy of my professional life making this film.
