In the first episode of the second season of the USA Network series The Sinner, it takes a little while to see a familiar face. Though Bill Pullman returns for Season 2 as Detective Harry Ambrose, the chilling opening moments of the new season take the time to set up the new crime: a young boy (Elisha Henig) calmly and deliberately poisons his parents while staying in a roadside motel . Its clear who did it. But, particularly when Ambrose comes to town, its apparent that why he did it will be the seasons driving force.
