Every good week of drama doesnt just deliver the goods in terms of action, writing and performance but it leaves you hungry to learn more – and Emmerdale has left us with some burning questions after bringing back Kim Tate and killing off her step grandson Joe.
After sitting through the weeks episodes, we need answers!
Is Joe really dead?
Sorry, Emmerdale – but we simply dont trust you! You made us think you had killed Kim Tate back in the day and the you pulled a similar trick with Ross Barton years later. More recently, we were made to believe twice that Rebecca White was dead and also that Graham had killed Connor – only for him to come back and seek revenge. The soap rule is – no body, no death confirmation.
Everything is pointing towards Joe being dead but was his twitching finger merely a means to give Graham a reason to be the one to finish him off? Or is this the first clue for a big reveal months down the line which sees Joe rock up at Home Farm, alive and well?

Will Faith be caught?
Faith nudged Kim off that balcony and into the tower of champagne as casually as if she were taking the bins out – and she even allowed herself a little smile and an argument that it was good for Noah to let off some steam when Charity caught her out.
But will she be so smug when the truth comes out? Claire King hinted to us that Faith should be afraid – Kim is hardly likely to let her get away with that.
Could Debbie be implicated in Joes death?
It may not have been a coincidence to have Joe disappear in the same week that Debbie finally came clean about her involvement in the acid attack on Ross. Now that the police know that Debbie once asked for Joe to be attacked, could she be left in the frame if and when a body is eventually found?
It would certainly leave Cain in a pickle…
Where is James Tate?
Okay, so Joe being bumped off and Kim instructing Graham to find James is pretty much confirmation that the son of the superbitch will be arriving in the village. But where has he been and why are he and Kim estranged?
How much does he know about her history and will he arrive as her enemy or her ally?
Who reported Kim to the police?
The police werent giving up their sources when they arrested Kim for driving without insurance (the least serious of her many, many crimes over the years) – could this be a significant plot point? Some are speculating that Graham had enough in the one day he was with Kim that he reported her himself.

However, with several people at the party seeing her rock up in the car, it might just be no more than a plot device to write Kim out until Claires filming schedule is free.
Can Cain trust Graham?
Well wed argue we already have an answer to this – we wouldnt trust him as far as we could throw him. But Cain doesnt exactly have many options, does he? Was Graham being genuine when he told Cain that he would sort it and they need to have trust?
Or has Graham set everything up so that if Joe is ever found, Cain is all gift wrapped and ready for the police?
Will Graham turn on Kim?
We have seen that calm and collected Graham has a snapping point – and when he is pushed over the edge, he really loses it. So with Kim ordering him about and making him do the unthinkable without a hint of remorse, is he a ticking timebomb where she is concerned?
He loves Kim – but then, he loved Joe too. And look what happened to him.
How will Ross leave?
When that rock was raised and clumped Ross over the head, many would have thought that we had seen Mike Parrs exit played out. But Ross lives to fight another day and is now talking about getting his life back at last. It may not be the devastating end that we were all expecting.
Could he and Rebecca be set for one of those rare soap things – a happy ending?

Is Kim eyeing up another man already?
Kim was making herself very comfortable at Home Farm but when she wasnt antagonising everyone who introduced themselves, she was asking Graham the identity of some of the dashing guests at her party.
How long before she gets her claws into Frank Clayton when she returns – and will this Frank meet a similar end to the last Frank Kim had her eye on?
Will poor Eric ever get his car?
Kim casually brushed aside Faiths demand for the car as if she were asking to borrow a fiver – and Eric was so aware of how dangerous Kim is that he is prepared to take a hit of £20k not to cross her.
If any question in this list has a definite answer, its this one. Sorry, Eric, its goodbye to that car!
