The revelation that Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) is alive has led to speculation that Debbie Dingles exit will see them reunite. But could they then return together after Charley Webbs maternity leave?
Debbies life was torn apart when her wedding day saw Joe disappear and things got even worse when she learned he was dead. Cain (Jeff Hordley) believed that he had killed Joe during an altercation and his relationship with his daughter was shattered when he admitted he had caused the death of her husband.
Kim (Claire King) was also under the impression that her order to kill Joe had been satisfied but after becoming suspicious of Graham Fosters (Andrew Scarborough) behaviour, she spied on him and then employed a private detective to see what was going on.
It was then that she found out that Joe is actually alive in Monte Carlo – and using her offshore account to keep himself in the money! But as Kim finds a way to turn this to her advantage, Debbie is bound to be in for the shock of her life when the truth about Joe being alive comes to light.

And considering that they were going to be married, it seems to be likely that she would want to track him down and see if she could persuade him to come home.
