Paddy Kirk and Chas Dingle have been through a devastating ordeal and it could be set to tear them apart forever in Emmerdale. As they continue to deal with their grief over baby Grace in different ways, Paddy continues to head to work despite Chas feeling that he isnt ready.
Paddy is struggling to find outlets for his pain and has been left feeling guilty that he apparently has no emotion over losing his daughter. However, at times, he has suddenly burst into tears and he is being impacted by it all more than he realises.
When he is then treating a cat at the surgery and it passes away, he takes it extremely badly and breaks down, forcing a worried Rhona Goskirk to step in and comfort him. Meanwhile, with Paddy a shadow of his former self, Chas worries about the growing gulf forming between them.

She tries to engage with Paddy about how he is feeling but struggles to get through to him and fears that their fractured relationship could be heading for crisis.
And she could be right to worry – if they dont confront their issues, something will have to give. With Paddys emotions coming out in sudden bursts rather than being channeled, will his next breakdown be even more devastating?
And are Chas and Paddy strong enough to get through this – or could this destroy them forever?
