Its the return Emmerdale fans have been waiting for – Mandy Dingle is finally back in the Dales. But what brings her back after all this time?
Mandy turned up at the Dingles to surprise Sam, Belle and Lydia, emerging from a taxi as a mysterious silhouette in the dark.
Sams jaw nearly hit the floor when he realised who was walking towards him, and immediately wanted to know why she had returned. He put words in her mouth, asking if she was back for Marlons official wedding. While Mandy said yes, her face said something different. Whats the real reason for her sudden appearance?
She also had her secret teenage son Vinnie in tow who Sam knew nothing about, and who happens to look the spit of Paddy. Are they related?!
I hope youve not come to cause havoc, Sam told her, but it looks like he might lucky if he expects Mandys return to be quietly absorbed by the family.
