David Metcalfe is hopeful that his marriage to Tracy Shankley could be repaired in upcoming Emmerdale scenes when they share a passionate encounter. But is he jumping the gun or is Tracy ready to forgive him?
Their relationship broke apart due to his lack of support when she opened up about being a prostitute in the past and also the fact that David spent the night with Leyla Harding in secret.
David has regretted his actions but it seemed like there was no going back. When Eric Pollard mentions that he has been thinking of hiring a cleaner, Tracy is keen and this then leads to her and David being in close proximity to one another.
Before long, the chemistry starts to resurface and as they flirt, they end up kissing and one thing leads to another.
David is delighted by what has happened and the next day he is hopeful that things can finally get back on track for them – but are they really back together?
