Ross Barton hasnt had it easy in Emmerdale lately. The mechanic has lived through a horrendous acid attack and was deeply hurt when Rebecca disappeared. But things are about to get a lot worse for Ross.
The mechanic has hidden Lawrences stolen cars at Butlers Barn and its not long before a suspicious Pete spots them.
Ross has found a buyer for the cars and it was his subsequent cheery mood that tipped Pete off.
He confronts Ross at the barn and tells him that Rhona wont be happy if she finds out – but she already has.
A livid Rhona overhears the conversation and marches in, demanding answers.
Ross is rattled by Rhona walking in. But he doesnt realise quite how bad a situation hes in. Cain later arrives, takes one look and realises what Ross has done. Cain berates a defensive Ross for his stupidity.

A furious Cain then drops a bombshell. He tells Ross and Pete that theres an umarked police car outside.
Will they manage to get rid of the police and hide the cars in time?
Emmerdale fans know that Mike Parr is leaving the soap later in the year.
Ross is not going to go quietly but will a run in with the law have anything to do with his departure? Or will the fact that Lachlan is holding Ross former flame Rebecca captive have more to do with the exit?
Viewers wont have to wait long to find out.
