Lachlan White has crossed that line in Emmerdale – hes almost a bit murder happy as it took very little provocation for him to consider caving in Freddys head with a rock. Given that he has also murdered half of his family and his happy-go-lucky best friend without breaking too much of a sweat, its only a matter of time before he claims another victim. So who is going to be next?
Lachlan is certainly managing to build a few enemies and we know what lengths he goes to in order to stop anyone who might risk his future with Belle Dingle. With Liv Flaherty set to do some more digging into his dark nature, mysterious uncle Terry still out there knowing the truth and Priya Sharma knowing there is something not quite right, the target could be on a number of people.

Here are nine characters who could be next to kick the bucket:
Liv Flaherty
Liv is grieving for her lost friend Gerry and now she is released from prison, she has become instantly suspicious of Lachlan after he lied about leaving a bag of money for the B&B repairs. But as Liv continues to dig, will she get to the truth and have to pay the price?
Lachlan starts receiving anonymous texts – and actor Thomas Atkinson recently gave away that these come from Liv. So might he have to silence her for good?
Doug Potts
Doug is currently facing the backlash of Gerrys death as he believes that his bad handiwork on the crumbling building led to the tragedy. Lachlans guilt has already manifested in him defending Doug and offering him money for legal representation and repairs.
As his guilt grows, will Lachlan find himself confessing what he did – and then regretting it and silencing Doug for good?
Rebecca White
Rebecca is currently unaware that Lachlan was responsible for the death of their family members and he actually took advantage of her brain injury to make her believe that she was the one who caused the crash.
But with it being possible that parts of Rebeccas memory could return down the line, will she recall the shocking truth and find herself as the next relative to bite the dust at Lachlans hands?

Priya Sharma
Priya is working closely with Lachlan and Belle on their business so she could be in a position to notice some odd behaviour from Lachlan. And now Lachlan is fearing that she may have witnessed him almost killing businessman Freddy.
If Lachlan were to discover that she did see enough to work out the truth, how far would he go to get her out of the picture?
Belle Dingle
Everything that Lachlan does is to preserve his relationship with Belle so he would have to lose everything and have no way back if he were to take this shocking move. But soap killers dont get away with things forever so will Lachlan be exposed and decide that he and Belle should go out in a blaze of glory?
Or can Belle emerge from this dangerous relationship unscathed?
Uncle Terry
Terry knows that Lachlan has a lot to hide and an angry confrontation proved how much Lachlan stands to lose – especially when Terry outright accused him of killing his family. Terry may be out of the picture after conning Doug but Lachlan knows that he is out there.
And if the con artist suddenly decided that he wants more cash, could he try and blackmail Lachlan and pay a very heavy price for the mistake?
Ross Barton
We know that Mike Parr is set to leave the soap and given Ross closeness to Rebecca, could he find himself on Lachlans radar? If Rebecca were to remember what happened on the day of that fateful crash, would Lachlan set out to harm her, leading to Ross intervening to save her?

While wed be amazed to see Lachlan take down the mighty Ross, this is a killer who doesnt generally pay fair given he grabs steering wheels and collapses buildings.
Robert Sugden or Aaron Dingle
With Liv set to be facing increasing danger from Lachlan, Aaron and Robert would do anything to protect her. If they were to discover how determined she was that Lachlan is a killer and realise the risk she is putting herself at, might they intervene on her behalf and confront the killer?
It would be a very risky move to kill off one half of Robron especially with a wedding promised to fans – but Lachlan is a guy who has killed half of his family and his best mate, so he would have no qualms in taking out Robert Sugden, who he has always hated. He has threatened to do so more than once…
Jai Sharma
After Jai realises how shaken Priya is after her run in with sinister Lachlan, he angrily heads round to confront Lachlan about his behaviour and roughly grabs him. Lachlan struggles to find excuses for whats happened so will Jai be left watching him closely after this altercation.
Given Jais shady past, it takes a baddie to know one – but might Jai bite off more than he can chew?
