Emmerdale actor James Moore, who plays Charity Dingles son Ryan Stocks, has responded to fans saying that they cant understand him. James, like his character, has cerebral palsy.
The actor posted a tweet today with some helpful instructions for fans who complain that they struggle to understand him.

James suggested that any put out viewers simply turn on subtitles, tweeting I have compiled this easy to use guide for your viewing pleasure. Simply set the option to English and enjoy. As fan responses poured in expressing admiration for James and love for his character Ryan, the actor added that he wasnt bothered – he found the situation funny.

James has a sense of humour but its not the first time hes had to jokingly pull Emmerdale fans in line. When Ryan first appeared on the soap, some unkind fans posted jibes about his hair and appearance. James response was typically classy, as he advised viewers to focus more on the plot and less on superficialities, adding that acting isnt a beauty contest.

Most fans seem to love James and a good thing too – Ryan Stocks isnt going anywhere. After Charity learned that the son shed thought had died at birth was alive, she made an effort to find and get to know him. It hasnt been a smooth process, as things never are with Charity, but Ryan seems to relish his mothers eccentricities and has so far had the patience of a saint with her.
