The final trailer for the upcoming Harry Potter film, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, has dropped and we have just one question – is that Groot we see?
There looks like there could be some crossover magic happening as in one scene Newt Scamander appears to be conjuring up a spell when Groot, from Marvels Guardians Of The Galaxy, appears alongside him.
More than likely however this creature may be a grown-up Mandrake, a plant which has a root that looks like a human; when at the age of maturity the cry of a Mandrake can be fatal to anyone who hears it.
Led by Eddie Redmayne as Newt, the second of five planned films will see the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (played by Johnny Depp) Grindelwald escape custody of Magical Congress of the United States of America, and has now set about gathering followers, most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise pure-blood wizards up to rule over all non-magical beings.

Albus Dumbledore (played by Jude Law) therefore enlists his former student Newt to help him defeat Grindelwald, but both are unaware of the dangers that lie ahead.
Elsewhere in the trailer, we also see Nagini, a human with cursed blood who has the ability to transform into a snake – and who in later years belonged to Lord Voldemort and was his final horcrux to be killed; she was killed by Neville Longbottom with Godric Gryffindors Sword.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is out in the UK on 16 November 16, 2018.
