Our childhoods are being transferred to the big screen.
The first trailer for the film adaptation of Artemis Fowl has dropped, and it looks just as magical as the books.
Newcomer Ferdia Shaw plays the titular 12-year-old criminal mastermind, who kidnaps a fairy to restore the Fowl family fortune and uncover the truth behind his fathers disappearance.
Over the dramatic trailer, we hear: Our world has never been in more danger. Human greed is what drove us underground all those years ago, to escape from your rapacious appetite.

While previously reported that the film would cover the events of the first two books, it has now been confirmed it will focus solely on the first.
Eoin Colfers hugely successful book series had been optioned since the first novels release in 2001, but it was confirmed in 2013 that Disney was developing the project.
As well as Ferdia Shaw, the cast will see Judi Dench playing Commander Root, JoshGad as Mulch Diggums, and Lara McDonnell as fairy Commander Holly Short.
Kenneth Branagh has directed the fantasty film, which is set for release in August 2019.
