Foreign fans have launched petition drives to keep EDawn in Pentagon and let him continue his activities, following the revelation of his romantic relationship with singer HyunA.
Pentagons EDawn and Hui, and HyunA are in the project group Triple H, which recently suspended TV promotions because of the dating issue.
EDawn and HyunA have admitted that theyre dating but Korean fans have expressed disapproval of EDawns behavior and now want him removed from the rookie boy band Pentagon.
Facing backlash from Korean fans, Cube Entertainment announced that EDawn would not be participating in the fan club event Unbirthday (Pentagons Private Class) slated on 11 August in South Korea.
The latest is that the agency has also barred him from attending Pentagons activities in Japan. He will not attend the boy bands first fan meeting in Japan on 18 August followed by fan signing sessions to be held on 19 and 25-27 August.

Korean fans and foreign fans of the boy band are holding different views about EDawn.
A fan based in the UK with the username EDawn Must Stay has launched a petition on Change.org to let Cube Entertainment know that they are supporting EDawn.
”Fans” are demanding that EDawn be removed from Pentagon. Lets sign this petition to make sure he stays in pentagon!! He doesnt deserve all this hate and he shouldnt be treated like this. If EDawn is happy with Hyuna, then we should all be happy for them (sic), the petition read.
As of writing, 2,551 people have signed out of the 5,000 target.
Just because they are dating doesnt mean that he has to be removed from the group ,a group which he worked hard to be a part of. Idols are humans too and the people that are requesting Edawn to be removed of the group are just egoist and selfish, one of the signatories commented on the petition.
Another wrote: I want Edawn to stay in Pentagon, while another fan posted: Falling in love while being an idol is NOT A CRIME! EDawn is an important member of Pentagon & let him be happy with Hyuna by his side.

Japanese fans have also launched a signature drive to support Pentagons activities as 10 members including EDawn.
The petition said the signatures will be submitted to the office of Cube Entertainment in Korea.
