Girl group UNI.T cancel fan event after TS Entertainment founder Kim Tae Song dies

The founder and CEO of TS Entertainment Kim Tae Song sadly passed away yesterday on 27 April.

The company have no stated the cause of death and following wishes from his family, have refused any inquiries from the press.

Following the news of his death, the agency released an official statement (via Soompi), which read: TS Entertainment CEO Kim Tae Song passed away on April 27.

In accordance with the wishes of his family, we politely decline any inquiries from the press. We ask for your understanding. Please pray that he can rest in peace.

Kim Tae Song founded TS Entertainment in 2008 after managing Koreas first boy group SoBangCha.

Here he debuted several artists, including B.A.P, Secret, Untouchable, SONAMOO, and TRCNG.

Girl group UNI.T have since cancelled their scheduled activities.

The group announced the news that they will not be holding their V Live broadcast via their official social media accounts, on 28 April.

They wrote: It has been cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances. We ask for your understanding. We will give updates on their future schedule as soon as possible.

UNI.T were supposed to be making a comeback by greeting their fans through V Live, however after Kim Tae Songs sudden passing, UNI.T and SONAMOO member Euijin is taking time out to mourn.

The funeral procession for CEO Kim Tae Song will be held on April 30.
